My interest in the Gears of War franchise has recently been reignited what with the Gears of War 3 beta around the corner. After seeing some gameplay from people that recieved early access to the beta I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it is shaping up. I'll be entering the beta on Monday so I will be giving a full rundown on the beta and what I think and also how it compares to the previous installments in the series.
So now the event is over and the dust has settled looking back to the show how was it compared to expectations?

Wrestlemania 27 was a real mixed bag it wasn’t awful and yet it wasn’t good it was just somewhere in the middle with some hints of greatness trying to shine through. It was just the show as a whole from start to finish had awful momentum it was all over the place. The Heavyweight title match being the first match was a little weird especially when you had the likes of mixed tag match ahead of it.
We are just a few hours away from Wrestlemania 27 and this year unlike recent Wrestlemania’s I am genuinely excited to see what happens tonight. The last few have been a mixed bag with the two highlights being HBK vs. The Undertaker whose matches have stole the show consecutive years.
This years Wrestlemania has a different feel to it for one two young guys are in the main events for the WWE and World Heavyweight titles and the fact the Rock is hosting the event which leaves a huge question mark on what might happen over the duration of the event. Going into an event like this with that air of mystery and the unexpected might happen is one of the best thing in wrestling.
This is a Youtube rip of footage that Warner Brothers has recently put up at Apple Trailers. The first Green Lantern trailer was released sometime ago now and It looked pretty good nothing amazing but good. This was also before I started reading the Green Lantern series.
Now with the four minutes of footage released we can judge it a little better. So what do I think…I’m hyped I had low expectations for the movie but those expectations have certainly increased after seeing this, it seems to be staying very true to the source material and it generally looks awesome I am literally shocked at the quality. For me June 17th seems a long way away after watching it.
