Since the announcement that Bane would be one of the featured villains in The Dark Knight Rises, many have speculated on the direction Nolan was going to take with the character. Up to this point beyond a teaser and a short glimpse in the recent teaser trailer much remained unknown, but that is no longer the case Wick Photography have posted up a few shots from the set of The Dark Knight Rises which features Bane, played by Tom Hardy along with other cast members.

This is quite the departure from the comics but I really like this version of Bane and it really suits the grounded nature of the Nolan Batman films. The images also open up some possible spoilers for the plot the main one being that Bane is standing a top of a modified Tumble, I say modified because of this shot.
After seeing this I am really looking forward to this film because at first I was a little wary due to it being a follow up to the fantastic Dark Knight and it has high expecatations to meet the quality of the previous film but in all honestly this is shaping up to be great, seeing Tom Hardy in costume has really sold me on Bane I can't wait to see how he potrays the character on the big screen. For fans of the comics it looks like Bane is finally getting the treatment the character deserves.
